Dr. Andras Bori - Executive Director
Andras Bori is a lifelong tennis player with decades of competitive league experience and a deep passion for the game. As the founder of the American Youth Tennis League (AYTL), he is committed to creating affordable, high-quality programs that give kids of all backgrounds the chance to learn, compete, and grow through tennis.
ITA NCAA D-II National Champion in doubles in 2002 (with fellow SBU Hall of Famer Mark Eori) ... Finished top four in 2003 ... Received All-American honors in 2002 and 2003 ... All-MIAA all three years in both singles and doubles ... Received ITA Scholar Athlete honors all three years ... Named 2002 Division 11 North Central Region ITA Rookie of the Year ... National rankings: #13 singles in 2002, #13 singles in 2003, #4 doubles in 2003, #26 singles in 2004, and #7 doubles player in 2004 ... Currently is working in a program management career, including stops with Yahoo from 2006-09, Citrix from ‘09-15 and for the last few years with Adobe, in Creative Cloud and Stock areas ... Previous Treasurer for San Diego Soccer Club ... Currently lives in San Diego.
Lucio Cangiano - Director Competitive Tennis
Lucio Cangiano, originally from São Paulo, Brazil, concluded his impressive collegiate career at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) as one of the most accomplished players in the history of the men’s tennis program.
Career Highlights:
Two-Time Fall ITA Central Region Singles Champion (2010, 2011)
First Team All-RMAC for Singles (2010–11, 2011–12) and Second Team All-RMAC in Doubles (same seasons)
Named RMAC Player of the Week twice during the 2011–12 season (March 21 & April 11)
Set MSU Denver's single-season record for singles wins with an outstanding 22–11 mark as the team's No. 1 player in 2011–12
In his final career match at the NCAA regional championship, he secured the record-breaking win—defeating Josh Raymond of Nebraska–Kearney 6-2, 7-5—marking his 22nd singles victory of the season
Together with partner Gabriel Vlahos, compiled a strong doubles record of 20–11 at the No. 1 position during the 2011–12 season
Earlier in his collegiate career, played at Meridian Community College, where he claimed the Southern Regional ITA Singles Championship (2009) and the Doubles Championship (2008)
Ended the 2009–10 season ranked #21 in ITA singles and #12 in doubles among small colleges
